NEW Grand Pianos
Our standards are very exacting. Pianos from these manufacturers have undergone rigorous inspection and testing to ensure they meet our performance criteria
As one of the UK's leading piano dealers we are fortunate to always be able to offer an extensive range of new pianos from manufacturers around the world. ALL our new pianos are sold with a full 5 year guarantee thereby ensuring peace of mind with such a sizeable purchase.
Prior to delivery every piano is set up to its optimum performance. Each key movement is regulated to ensure there is no untoward motion, the damper action is checked to ensure full damping, the keys are levelled and eased to reduce the chance of 'sticking' as moisture is absorbed by the new felts.

At Marksons, we take great pride in ensuring that you, as our customer have complete peace of mind with your purchase.
Buying a piano is not a spur of the moment decision, and you will undoubtedly have taken time and and done some research before making your choice. When buying from us, much of that work has already been done for you. We only select pianos designed to provide a lifetimes worth of pleasure and being one of the largest short-term and long-term hirers in the industry we have the ability to 'field test' our pianos. Naturally over the years some work will need to be effected to maintain your piano ; the amount of maintenance will be dependent primarily on useage, and the environment in which it is kept in.
From our many years experience in the industry, there are very few instances of major work or replacement being required by a new piano, but invariably should a manufacturing fault develop this usually becomes clear within the first five years from manufacture date. All instruments supplied by us undergo a multi-point quality assurance preparation and are supported by FIVE YEAR GUARANTEE which also encompasses the manufacturers guarantee. Part of the service we offer is that our fleet of highly experienced piano tuners routinely check over your piano when it is being tuned to identify if there are any problems, or potential problems arising. Having our own restoration workshops ensures we can address these quickly and efficiently.
